Ladies, don't you hate when you leave straightening your hair until the end of the night? Guys have it easy, they just wash and go. Girls have a bigger problem with hair; whether you need to straighten, curl, scrunch, or braid, there's a lot more to do!

You've heard of handmade cookies, haven't you? What about made-with-your-hands-actually-in-the-bowl-of-dough cookies? I couldn't find the mixer tonight! I had to get my hands in the chocolate chip cookie dough in order to mix it thoroughly enough to go in the oven. It's alright though... the cookies still taste good! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
It's a few weeks after Christmas, and I've been anxiously awaiting the day that we could start planning our day trip to Disney. Well, today was finally that day! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Don't you just love reminiscing about fun times in the past? While everyone was out of the house during the day, my mom and I started going through a few old things that had to be put into the attic, and I found quite the plethora of funny memorabilia. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
I know that I write about my job a lot, but can I just say how incredibly happy I am in my position? I am honestly so lucky to be working with this fantastic group of people, because I can pass the time by laughing and chatting with my team members as we accomplish the job in front of us. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Today was just a fantastic day! Have you ever had those days where you were just happy all day long and nothing spectacular happened but you just feel good? That was my day today. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
It was my first time closing without any help tonight, and I actually accomplished everything in a timely manner! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
We successfully survived the first day of normal routine after winter break! Everyone was on time for school, my brother and sister did well with their first day of new classes, and the twins were absolutely thrilled to have been reunited with their friends. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
It took us two extra days this year, but all of our holiday decorations have been taken down. It looks empty and quite sad in our entryway and living room now. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
The other day, my mom told me about something that she had read on a Facebook page, and it struck a chord with me. I wanted to discuss it here, but I didn't quite have enough time to fully write about the topic. I thought I would write about it tonight since I haven't been able to forget about it. |
AboutMy family started doing foster care when I was three years old. We took in nineteen children over the course of eighteen years, with our last placement leaving in December 2014. I'm the only biological child in my family, though my parents adopted five of my siblings.
I love to share my perspective on the foster care system and share how my unique upbringing shaped my life. I'm also a Cast Member at Walt Disney World and lover of all things Disney! My career allows me the opportunity to find a little bit of Magic in life every day. I enjoy sharing my journey as a writer as well. Find my children's books on Amazon and keep following my blog for updates on future books that I'll be releasing! Archives
