Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
I'm just getting ready for work and thought that I would post now, since I'm closing tonight and may not have time to write later. I wanted to share the good news that my little sister is already feeling much better! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Today was anything but the day we expected; we ended up spending the entire day in the Emergency Room.  Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Well, first thing's first, here are the finished cupcakes... What do you think? I tried a new cupcake recipe, new frosting technique, and a new audience of kids to try them out. They seemed to be a success! I was so impressed that they actually came out the way I had pictured them, because normally when I try something new, it doesn't quite go as planned the first time. I don't have much time to write tonight because I'm finishing up some projects that I was working on during the day... I thought it would be nice to share a photo of one of those projects though. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
It's Friday! We don't have to wake up early tomorrow, and my mom had a nice conversation with my little sisters about not waking everyone up when they wake up (a.k.a. approximately 4:00am), so maybe everyone will get a good night's sleep. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Remember last night, when I mentioned how tired I've been? Well, that culminated in a three hour nap this afternoon from which I just couldn't wake myself up. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
All day long I kept feeling like it was the end of the week, as though the kids would all be home tomorrow from school and we'd relax for the weekend. Sadly, it was only Wednesday. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!

Do you want to know what's really awesome about my job? I mean, besides the other million things I've already written about, of course... It's like Disney celebrates the end of the work night, because I'm usually leaving right as the fireworks are going off. |
About
My family started doing foster care when I was three years old. We took in nineteen children over the course of eighteen years, with our last placement leaving in December 2014. I'm the only biological child in my family, though my parents adopted five of my siblings.
I love to share my perspective on the foster care system and share how my unique upbringing shaped my life. I'm also a Cast Member at Walt Disney World and lover of all things Disney! My career allows me the opportunity to find a little bit of Magic in life every day. I enjoy sharing my journey as a writer as well.
