I've been writing this blog for so long now that I often forget about previous posts. What have I written about before? What comments have I received and replied to? Some posts were written over a year ago, and so much happens in my daily life that I forget about previous blog entries.

Did you know that this month is National Adoption Month? It's a topic that has been discussed on social media, and it brings awareness to adoption. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
I saw something tonight on Facebook that I wanted to discuss here, because I think that it's really important for people to understand. It was a writing from the actress Sandra Bullock, in regards to the adoption of her son. I'm so glad that a family member found this writing and sent it to my mom, because it was nice to read it. Happy birthday times three! I'm 22 and my littlest sisters are 6! Where has the time gone? Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Whew, are my eyes tired! I spent hours tonight filling out forms and reading guidelines & handbooks with information I needed to know before starting my new job....and I'm still not finished! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Tonight, I have the pleasure of addressing a really important question from one of my frequent readers, Pam. To read Pam's full question, you can see her comment on my post from last night. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
I know I mentioned a while back that I was in the process of fixing up old blog posts. I'm not changing anything as far as the content of the posts, but I'm fixing the categories of each post so that they are more specific. The more labels I assign to a post, the easier it will be for readers to find what they are looking for when browsing through the Categories list on the right hand side of all blog pages. We're halfway through October now, which means that we only have a little more than two weeks until one of the sweetest holidays of the year: Halloween. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
The other night, I wrote about my little sister losing a tooth, and tonight I wanted to share some of our foster care experience related to children losing teeth. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
The other day, I wrote about how I was discussing foster care with a woman who takes sign language lessons from me. I was just thinking about that discussion, and thought I would share some of the information that I had given her. |
AboutMy family started doing foster care when I was three years old. We took in nineteen children over the course of eighteen years, with our last placement leaving in December 2014. I'm the only biological child in my family, though my parents adopted five of my siblings.
I love to share my perspective on the foster care system and share how my unique upbringing shaped my life. I'm also a Cast Member at Walt Disney World and lover of all things Disney! My career allows me the opportunity to find a little bit of Magic in life every day. I enjoy sharing my journey as a writer as well. Find my children's books on Amazon and keep following my blog for updates on future books that I'll be releasing! Archives
