I got out of work almost a full hour before I actually got into my car and started driving home. Why, you ask, did it take me so long to be ready to leave? Well...
As a matter of fact, this was the same girl to whom I had such trouble sending a message the other day when I wanted to make plans. Luckily, she said yes to the plans, and I'm excited to be going to this special event with her next month in Disney. She's really down to earth and has made me feel a lot better about my anxiety. It was weird...as we were talking, it just kind of slipped out how difficult it was for me to send that message to her, but she made me feel absolutely at ease.
I'm looking forward to getting to talk with my co-worker a lot more, and to continue getting to know her better. It seems as though we have kind of clicked with each other, and I'm wondering how much we actually have in common. I do know that one of the most important parts of life, a love of "Grey's Anatomy," is something that we have in common at least!
I really hope that things continue to grow for me, both with this new friendship and with other friendships at work. I have a great time with my fellow Cast Members as we fulfill our job requirements, so I just need to become relaxed enough to socialize with them outside of work, should something arise that would call for us to hang out.
Your continued support means the world to me. From foster care to novels, and family to work experiences, I look forward to sharing more of my life with you each day. Don't hesitate to share your own stories with me or ask me questions about my life. Please don't forget to like and share my Facebook author page as well!
