Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
It was a very productive day for me today! Though the morning was off to a weird start, the day went very well. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Yesterday, I mentioned the fact that I was starting a new children's picture book. I had jotted down a few ideas, thought about the overall direction of the story, and that was about it. Today, I actually accomplished quite a lot for the book. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Yesterday, the date was making me absolutely crazy. I couldn't figure out the significance of April 26th, and it was bothering me all day. Was it a birthday? Maybe one of an old friend with whom I am no longer in contact, so it wasn't clear to me? No, today I found out what the significance was, and it was actually an anniversary. I got out of work almost a full hour before I actually got into my car and started driving home. Why, you ask, did it take me so long to be ready to leave? Well... Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
I started with my new sign language students today, and it went extremely well! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Tomorrow, I'm really excited to start sign language lessons with a new group of students! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
What a nice day we've had today! Though we didn't think we had plans for the day, we started out the morning making our own fun and things grew from there. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Student loans. They're the worst part of going to college, right? You can suffer through the late nights of studying, early morning classes, and cramming in school work over the summer, because you know that it'll all be worth it when you get that diploma. But just when you think all of the hard work is over, you get slammed with student loan repayments. |
AboutMy family started doing foster care when I was three years old. We took in nineteen children over the course of eighteen years, with our last placement leaving in December 2014. I'm the only biological child in my family, though my parents adopted five of my siblings.
I love to share my perspective on the foster care system and share how my unique upbringing shaped my life. I'm also a Cast Member at Walt Disney World and lover of all things Disney! My career allows me the opportunity to find a little bit of Magic in life every day. I enjoy sharing my journey as a writer as well. Find my children's books on Amazon and keep following my blog for updates on future books that I'll be releasing! Archives
