Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
We had such a nice family outing today! Since we moved to Florida, we've been looking for ways to get involved in the community and have fun the way we would in New York. We used to go to fairs or festivals, carnivals, little events that our town and the surrounding towns would hold to get everyone together. We've been looking for things like that around our new town, but hadn't yet found anything that would interest our family. But today we were able to go out and enjoy ourselves for the afternoon and I was glad that we did. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!

Last night, my mom and I had recorded the Disneyland 60th anniversary celebration on television, but we didn't have the chance to watch it until today. Wow, I was really glad that we made time for it this morning! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Some nights, when I'm not sure what I want to blog about, I just sit and think about my life. Sometimes all I'm left with is the thought that my life is boring, and I still don't know what to write about. Other times, like tonight, these random thoughts will pop into my head that make me think, wonder, and want to explore a topic. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!

My family started doing foster care when I was three years old. We took in nineteen children over the course of eighteen years, with our last placement leaving in December 2014. I'm the only biological child in my family, though my parents adopted five of my siblings.
I love to share my perspective on the foster care system and share how my unique upbringing shaped my life. I'm also a Cast Member at Walt Disney World and lover of all things Disney! My career allows me the opportunity to find a little bit of Magic in life every day. I enjoy sharing my journey as a writer as well.
