Have you ever reminded yourself to do something, but kept putting it off? Yeah, that’s what blogging has been like for the past two months.... I just realized that I never posted at all in August or September! Whoops!

Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Well, it's been just about four weeks since the release of my newest children's book, "The Way the World Changed," and I couldn't have asked for a better release! I'm still amazed at how many children we've been able to reach and help with this story! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Well, it has officially been a full month of furlough from work, we've been staying at home for two months, and I've binge-watched six of my favorite shows from middle school and high school on Disney+, but this quarantine has not gotten the best of us yet! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Last week, in my recap of life since I took a break from blogging, I mentioned that I'm currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Professional Creative Writing. I'm in my third class and have gained so much since starting the program. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Apparently, August is the busiest month of the year for me... I haven't posted at all and next week is the start of September! But I finally have a few moments to sit and write and I'm excited to share all that's been happening around here! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Student loans. They're the worst part of going to college, right? You can suffer through the late nights of studying, early morning classes, and cramming in school work over the summer, because you know that it'll all be worth it when you get that diploma. But just when you think all of the hard work is over, you get slammed with student loan repayments. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Tomorrow is the day we've all been waiting for (and I do mean all been waiting for)... Halloween! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
If you've followed my blog for a while, you probably know that I always have a million projects going on at once. My mind just can't grasp the concept of focusing on one thing at a time. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Well, I was correct in my assumption that I would sleep the day away! After waking up early to watch the girls while my mom made a bus stop run, I barely stayed awake long enough to say good-bye to the younger kids. Then I crawled back to bed and slept for what felt like forever. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
The 2015-2016 school year has officially started for the Krigsman family! My siblings went to their new schools for the first time today, and it was a big adjustment for everyone. |
AboutMy family started doing foster care when I was three years old. We took in nineteen children over the course of eighteen years, with our last placement leaving in December 2014. I'm the only biological child in my family, though my parents adopted five of my siblings.
I love to share my perspective on the foster care system and share how my unique upbringing shaped my life. I'm also a Cast Member at Walt Disney World and lover of all things Disney! My career allows me the opportunity to find a little bit of Magic in life every day. I enjoy sharing my journey as a writer as well. Find my children's books on Amazon and keep following my blog for updates on future books that I'll be releasing! Archives
