If you've followed my blog for a while, you probably know that I always have a million projects going on at once. My mind just can't grasp the concept of focusing on one thing at a time.

If you know me, you know that I absolutely LOVE Disney! Whether it's a Disney movie, Disney World, talking about Walt Disney himself, or singing Disney songs, I love just about everything related to the Walt Disney Company. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Tonight was the last night of my first sign language session! The past six weeks have just flown by! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
My goodness! I was so busy working on another project that I almost forgot to blog tonight! I can't believe it's already 11pm! Where has the day gone? Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Do you ever have the opportunity to see your hard work paying off right in front of you? Tonight, I was lucky enough to see the fruits of my labor paying off, and it was incredible. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
I feel like I'm finally starting to put down roots here in Florida! Things are suddenly starting to come together, kind of like when you get the frame of a puzzle done and you can begin to see where the rest of the pieces fit. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
As I've posted before, I'm minoring in Deaf Studies in college. I've been fortunate enough to take some great classes about Deaf Culture and learn a lot of sign language over the course of my college career. However, I leaned some sign language long before I ever stepped into a college classroom. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Tonight, I thought that I would share the video that I completed today for my sign language final presentation. Just as I did for my midterm project, I chose to translate a song into American Sign Language. For this video, I combined my love of sign language with my love of Broadway, and translated a song from Rogers & Hammerstein’s “Cinderella.” Just click on the video below to see the final product! It’s getting to be the end of the semester, so that means that I’ll have another project coming up for my sign language class. I’ve been going back and forth about what I want to do, but I finally picked out a song that I’d like to translate for my performance. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
This morning, I shared my midterm presentation for my sign language class. I thought that other people might find it interesting as well. |
AboutMy family started doing foster care when I was three years old. We took in nineteen children over the course of eighteen years, with our last placement leaving in December 2014. I'm the only biological child in my family, though my parents adopted five of my siblings.
I love to share my perspective on the foster care system and share how my unique upbringing shaped my life. I'm also a Cast Member at Walt Disney World and lover of all things Disney! My career allows me the opportunity to find a little bit of Magic in life every day. I enjoy sharing my journey as a writer as well. Find my children's books on Amazon and keep following my blog for updates on future books that I'll be releasing! Archives
