Wow, it has been over two years since I've posted on this blog. I can't believe it. What started out as a daily blog turned into a weekly blog, and at some point it just became too much to do on a regular basis... or at all I guess.

​I never planned to stop blogging. In fact, after I hadn't posted in a while, I just took the blog down and said that my website was "down for maintenance" because I figured I could fix it up a bit, give it a makeover, and start up again. Sadly, that just didn't happen.

The realization hit me today that while I started this blog to discuss foster care and adoption, I've barely touched either subject in the most recent weeks. So much has been happening in my personal life that I've been finding it difficult to talk about anything aside from my new job or plans for the holiday season.

I know I mentioned a while back that I was in the process of fixing up old blog posts. I'm not changing anything as far as the content of the posts, but I'm fixing the categories of each post so that they are more specific. The more labels I assign to a post, the easier it will be for readers to find what they are looking for when browsing through the Categories list on the right hand side of all blog pages.

Happy anniversary to Taylor Talks! On July 29, 2014, I started on this crazy adventure that I called a blog. I had no idea how often I would post, I had no idea if I gain any interest in what I was writing about, and I had no idea that I would be sitting down at the computer an entire year later, celebrating a successful year of blogging.

Happy June everyone! Wow, it's the last month of school for my siblings, and I can't believe that just next month we'll be moving from New York to Florida! Time has flown by!
