I’m keeping this post very short tonight because it’s just about midnight and I need to go to bed. I have been up decorating a cake all night, because I wasn’t home all day.

I had fieldwork during the day, so I was working with the sixth graders, and then I had a class at night (during which I had to take a midterm… yikes!). Once I got home and all of my siblings were in bed, I got to work on this cake. We have a birthday to celebrate tomorrow, so I had to make sure that I baked and decorated a cake, no matter how chaotic my life is at the moment.
It doesn’t look half bad, but I’ll write more tomorrow about what everyone thinks about the cake! It was my first time making a chocolate cake, so I hope everyone likes it! Okay, well my mom and I already stole a little piece, and it was pretty good, and unfortunately my little sisters can’t have chocolate. But I hope everyone else likes it!
