I’d like to start off by wishing everyone a Happy Hanukkah! Although tonight was the first night of the Festival of Lights, today began my annual baking spree for a different holiday… It’s time to make Christmas cookies!
I’ve mentioned before that I love baking, so this time of year is always fun. I make the traditional chocolate chip cookies, along with a few recipes that my siblings have come to love over the past few years, and then I also try out a new recipe or two.
Today, I began baking in the morning after all of my siblings were at school, so my brother and sister were happily surprised to see that I had made their favorite recipe when they came home. My littlest sisters will be surprised when they realize that I’m also making cookies for their class holiday parties… I can’t wait to see how everything turns out!
Do you bake Christmas cookies? What other December traditions do you have?
I’d greatly appreciate it if you would share this blog with friends and family through your favorite social media sites. If you’re sharing on Twitter, don’t forget to tag me (@TayTayK02) and use the hashtag #TaylorTalks.
Thanks!
