I am incredibly excited to make this announcement today and wanted to share it here first...
My next children's book is going to be released soon!
As you all probably know by now, my littlest sisters are deaf. Now, these kids are hilarious at all times of the day, but the antics seem to get a little sillier at bedtime because they can't quite hear everything that we say after they take their hearing aids out.
Well a while back, Twin A had taken out her hearing aids and then proceeded to cuddle up with my mom on the couch. You know the drill... start conversations that could stretch out in order to postpone bedtime. I have no idea what they were talking about that night, but without the hearing aids in, if my sister was jumping around and wasn't close to my mom, then she kept missing parts of what my mom replied to her. At one point, my mom said something and then my sister said, "How do grandmas grow?! What? That makes no sense!"
Of course, that wasn't even remotely what my mom had said, so she just pulled my sister close and spoke into her ear. My sister was right... that did make no sense.
It did, however, make for an excellent children's book.
I'm thrilled to announce that "How Do Grandmas Grow?" will be ready for release in early November!
to become the people who love you so?
Some grandmas may live near their grandchildren, while others live far away.
Some see their grandkids once a year, while others see them every day.
Celebrate every special grandma with this sweet book! This is the perfect story for grandmas and grandchildren to read together, whether they're video chatting from miles apart or cuddled up close together.

Told in rhyme, this story will help children focus on like sounds. Rhyming has a powerful effect on children's language and cognitive skills. Coupled with this enjoyable tale, children can learn as they read!
Oh, and I might as well give a sneak peek at my next book as well...
"How Do Grandpas Grow?" will be ready for release just a few weeks after this book!
Stay tuned for more information on the release of both of these incredible books! I'll be sharing the cover of "How Do Grandpas Grow?" and more details on that story soon enough! These books are arriving just in time for the holiday season and are the perfect way to celebrate the grandparents in your life this year... so many grandparents and grandchildren have been separated during this pandemic, so these stories are a great way to bring them closer together!
Thanks for reading!
