Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
I'm officially a costumed Cast Member! I was thrilled to take my costume home with me this afternoon after a fun day of training one-on-one with another Cast Member from my location.
I'm officially a costumed Cast Member! I was thrilled to take my costume home with me this afternoon after a fun day of training one-on-one with another Cast Member from my location.
It was so great getting to meet some of the people I'll be working with, and touring the whole location. My trainer was so nice and helpful, and she answered the millions of questions that I had with ease. I'm looking forward to working with her again for training on Thursday, and then again next week.
After a long day at work, I came home for just a little while before heading back out again. The family headed down to Disney Springs (formerly called Downtown Disney), to have dinner at Planet Hollywood! We were meeting up with some friends from New York who were here on vacation. My littlest sisters were so excited when my mom told them what our plans for the night were, because the people we were seeing included a little girl who they've been friends with since preschool. She's down here with her mom and grandma, so it was great to see the three of them for a while tonight.
Of course, we were out so late that the girls fell asleep on the ride home, and my brother and sister conked out as soon as their heads hit the pillow after getting into the house. I'm just thrilled that I don't have to get up and get ready for work tomorrow, because I'm exhausted. Going down to meet up with our friends and go to dinner was definitely worth it though, because the company was great, the food was delicious, and I even got to use my Cast Member discount for the first time ever! It was a really nice night.
