Today was finally our day at Disney! We had such a great time today!
Today was finally our day at Disney! We had such a great time today!
Even though I drive through the Walt Disney World sign three times a week on my way to work, I was still so excited to go this morning. The whole family was ready for a great day at the parks... the only sad part was that my dad couldn't get off from work and had to miss out on the day. The good news is that this just gives us an excuse to go back again whenever my dad can go with us!
We spent the morning in Epcot and then headed over to Magic Kingdom. My family got to see where I work and meet some of the amazing Cast Members that I work with, which was fantastic! It was such a good feeling to show the place off to them...
It felt great to spend a day at Disney as a Guest again, but it felt really weird now that I'm a Cast Member. I wanted to direct people and help people, and I had to remember that I wasn't working so I should leave Guests alone today. That doesn't meant that I held back with my own family though; I always take charge with maps and such and lead the way with my family.
We even put on Celebration buttons to make the day a little more Magical. Mine said that I was celebrating being a new Cast Member, my siblings were celebrating our move to Florida, and my mom's button said that she was celebrating us kids! It was fun to celebrate together.
It was a great Disney Day, but we were completely wiped out from the excitement. We spent about eleven hours total at Disney today! Still, as tired as I am, I can't wait to plan another day with the family (my dad included) at the parks.
