I hope that everyone has enjoyed a wonderful holiday season!
Going back to Disney has been such a blessing, but it is also extremely different than it was before the shut down. There are so many fantastic safety precautions in place, but it takes a little while to get used to everything. I'm working in a new location, which was a little unexpected, but I am so glad that I've had the opportunity to meet some new people. The location is absolutely gorgeous as well, which is definitely a perk, and I'm in a prime location to see the small cavalcades that go past with Mickey and friends, some of the princesses, and even Santa earlier this month!
My nephew also turned one on Christmas! We were able to video chat while he opened his birthday presents, which was wonderful. I cannot believe how big he's getting.
Speaking of babies... I'm also excited because now that I'm back to work, I can finally finish my home study and move forward in the adoption process. I hope to share more about that in the upcoming weeks, but for now I'll just ask for good thoughts and to wish me luck!
Enjoy the last few days of 2020. It has been the worst year imaginable for so many people, but we're almost through it. There has to be something better ahead for us all next year.
Thanks for reading!
