Life as a Writer, Disney World Cast Member, and
Big Sister through Foster Care & Adoption
Welcome back to Taylor Talks! It’s the start of a new day, a new month, a new year, and a new life! Happy New Year everyone! So only my mom and I were awake for the ball drop at midnight, which is quite a change from the number of people usually celebrating at our house each year. But it was kind of nice to stand just the two of us in front of the television without all of the commotion.
With the new year comes new promises and resolutions, and like a ton of other people, I made my own resolution for the coming year. I’ve made a few promises to myself that I will do my best to keep. I want to become healthier and be a better person, and I want to push myself to work on my book much more. What resolutions have you made for the new year? Let me know in the comments, and remember that you can leave the email field blank when commenting! I’d greatly appreciate it if you would share this blog with friends and family through your favorite social media sites. If you’re sharing on Twitter, don’t forget to tag me (@TayTayK02) and use the hashtag #TaylorTalks. Thanks! Taylor

My family has been doing foster care since I was three years old. I'm the only biological child in my family, though I now have five permanent siblings. Having nineteen siblings over the course of my lifetime has been an incredible experience, and I'm hoping that by sharing some of the ups and downs of being the only bio kid in a foster family, other foster families or people looking into doing foster care will be able to learn a bit of what life can be like. I also like to share what life is like on my journey to becoming a published author, as well as where my schooling and career choice are taking me.
