Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
So tonight I’d like to really thank those of you that have stopped by to read my blog. When I sign into my account, I can see how many people have viewed my posts, and I’m really excited to say that I’ve had over 10 people visit since I launched the page less than a week ago!
That being said, I haven’t received any comments on posts yet, and I have no way of knowing who is reading my blog. I’m really curious to find out who has been following my story so far. Are there other bio kids relating to some of the things I’ve written? Are there people looking into becoming foster parents who are learning from my experiences?
I’m wondering if anyone who is reading my blog will leave me a comment… It would be great to talk to other people in similar situations to mine. If I don’t hear from anyone yet, then I’ll just keep writing… Maybe I’ll eventually get to know some other bio kids who have grown up in a family similar to mine. I have never gotten to know anyone else in my situation, so I think it would be great to use my new blog as a forum to do so.
I’d greatly appreciate it if you would share this blog with friends and family through your favorite social media sites. If you’re sharing on Twitter, don’t forget to tag me (@TayTayK02) and use the hashtag #TaylorTalks.
My family has been doing foster care since I was three years old. I'm the only biological child in my family, though I now have five permanent siblings. Having nineteen siblings over the course of my lifetime has been an incredible experience, and I'm hoping that by sharing some of the ups and downs of being the only bio kid in a foster family, other foster families or people looking into doing foster care will be able to learn a bit of what life can be like. I also like to share what life is like on my journey to becoming a published author, as well as where my schooling and career choice are taking me.
