My new children's book was released yesterday!
That's right, after tons of work writing and illustrating, my new book was officially released yesterday morning!
"I Am Not A Circle" is a children's picture book aimed at kids from preschool to second grade. It is a story that teaches children about basic shapes and the importance of friendship. It even includes four pages of fun activities at the end of the book to keep kids learning and using their creativity.
Here's the book summary...
On a journey filled with friends of all shapes and sizes, one young girl is on a mission to solve a very big problem. Follow Dani and learn all about shapes, and the importance of good friends, as she figures out what shape she could be. Whether just learning what shapes are, or discovering exactly what makes each shape special, children of all ages will enjoy this tale of never giving up hope.

I'm really excited to have this book out now... This is my second book, and I'm just as proud of this one as I am of my first one. When I received my copy in the mail, it was a thrilling moment. I had actually been pacing the house, waiting for the mail truck to come, because I was so anxious to get it. I couldn't rip open the box fast enough; it felt magical to hold that first copy in my hands.
