Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
I didn't have time to post yesterday, but I have some really wonderful news to share...
My new children's book was released yesterday!
That's right, after tons of work writing and illustrating, my new book was officially released yesterday morning!
"I Am Not A Circle" is a children's picture book aimed at kids from preschool to second grade. It is a story that teaches children about basic shapes and the importance of friendship. It even includes four pages of fun activities at the end of the book to keep kids learning and using their creativity.
Here's the book summary...
On a journey filled with friends of all shapes and sizes, one young girl is on a mission to solve a very big problem. Follow Dani and learn all about shapes, and the importance of good friends, as she figures out what shape she could be. Whether just learning what shapes are, or discovering exactly what makes each shape special, children of all ages will enjoy this tale of never giving up hope.
So, what do you think? Does it sound like something you would want to read to the children in your life? Well guess what... the book is only $10! It's entertaining, informative, and affordable, the perfect combination.
I'm really excited to have this book out now... This is my second book, and I'm just as proud of this one as I am of my first one. When I received my copy in the mail, it was a thrilling moment. I had actually been pacing the house, waiting for the mail truck to come, because I was so anxious to get it. I couldn't rip open the box fast enough; it felt magical to hold that first copy in my hands.
If you're interested in "I Am Not A Circle," you can find it on its personal store page, a branch of Amazon, or wait for it to be sold directly on Amazon in just a couple of days. When the Amazon page is ready to go, I'll be sure to post the link here as well. Of course, both of my books are listed under the Books page on my website for easy access at any time.
It would mean the world to me to receive support in sharing my new book with potential readers. Don't forget that my first book, "A Christmas For Toys," is also available, and both of these books would make great gifts for the upcoming holiday season!
I'd greatly appreciate it if you would share this blog with friends and family through your favorite social media sites. My family has been doing foster care since I was three years old. I'm the only biological child in my family, though I now have five permanent siblings. Having nineteen siblings over the course of my lifetime has been an incredible experience, and I'm hoping that by sharing some of the ups and downs of being the only bio kid in a foster family, other foster families or people looking into doing foster care will be able to learn a bit of what life can be like. I also like to share what life is like on my journey to becoming a published author, as well as where my schooling and career choice are taking me.
