Today was such a fun day at work! There were so many laughs to be had as I continued to bond with my team members, and it's amazing how working with great people can make a day fly by.
The long work hours are definitely catching up to me though, no matter how much fun I'm having. This morning, I walked out of my bedroom and my mom looked at me and noted that, "This is why people drink coffee," as she pointed at me. I was basically a walking zombie until I left for work. Yet somehow, once I'm actually at work, I feel great and I'm excited about the job, ready to go and not tired at all. I don't know how that happens, but I am really glad that it does.
I do, however, still need lots of sleep in order to function at work tomorrow, so I'm off to bed now. Eventually I'll get this schedule sorted out so that I have more time to write, but apparently I just can't get my act together right now... Good night everyone!
Thank you so much for your continued support! I look forward to sharing more stories about my experience with foster care, and hopefully hearing from readers who have questions or similar stories to share. I'm always willing to answer questions and hear about other experiences! Please don't forget to like and share my Facebook author page as well!
