My family is gearing up for some excitement next week... we're finally planning our day at Disney!
The kids didn't know when we were going until just last week. We told the older kids, and then yesterday we told the twins (because you can't tell them anything too far in advance or you'll never hear the end of it). So all day today they kept talking about how long we have until we go to Magic Kingdom and our big plans. Twin B crawled up on the couch next to my mom and whispered about what ride she wants to go on, but made my mom pinky promise to keep it a secret.
We've never gone to Disney so quickly after a previous trip before. We went when I was six, when I was in eighth grade, between my sophomore and junior years of college, and then we just went last Spring when we were down here looking at houses. Since it's been a little under a year since our last visit, we just did many of the rides and whatnot that we love. This time, we're planning to catch some of the attractions that we normally miss out on.
Since this is my first time visiting Disney as a Cast Member, I'm really looking forward to the experience. I feel like I'll be seeing things with new eyes, but I'm sure that I'll still be thrilled by the magic that all Guests get to experience. Of course, the best part of going to Disney with your family is seeing the joy and excitement in your youngest family members' eyes. I hope all of my siblings have a great time, but I know that my littlest sisters will really enjoy everything.
What's your favorite thing to do at Disney? I'm looking forward to doing some new things, like riding the train around Magic Kingdom.
