Life as a Writer, Disney World Cast Member, and
Big Sister through Foster Care & Adoption
Welcome back to Taylor Talks! Growing up in a family where there are always little kids around can certainly provide a lot of laughs. With each kid that lives with us, no matter how long they stay, we learn to see things in new and exciting ways. The way little kids speak is always amusing, as anyone who has been in the presence of a small child can surely attest to. My littlest sisters are five years old, and they’re at the stage where they’re learning to be mature in their speech, but sometimes use words or phrases out of context. And of course, sometimes they just come up with these things that make me think, ‘where in the world did that come from?’ My brother, though eleven, also comes up with some fun thoughts sometimes, which I try to remember to share with my parents later in order to give everyone a good laugh.
I think you’ll get a good laugh out of some of my favorite things that my siblings say… please, read and enjoy!
Sometimes I just have to laugh and share these silly conversations… I hope you got a little chuckle out of my siblings as well! I’d greatly appreciate it if you would share this blog with friends and family through your favorite social media sites. If you’re sharing on Twitter, don’t forget to tag me (@TayTayK02) and use the hashtag #TaylorTalks. Thanks! Taylor

My family has been doing foster care since I was three years old. I'm the only biological child in my family, though I now have five permanent siblings. Having nineteen siblings over the course of my lifetime has been an incredible experience, and I'm hoping that by sharing some of the ups and downs of being the only bio kid in a foster family, other foster families or people looking into doing foster care will be able to learn a bit of what life can be like. I also like to share what life is like on my journey to becoming a published author, as well as where my schooling and career choice are taking me.
