It's Night Two in our new house, and today we had the opportunity to accomplish a lot. Unfortunately, that did mean a lot of work and exhaustion.
We got a lot of the house cleaned today, and the truck that my dad drove down was completely unloaded. Okay, so most of the stuff is still in the garage, but we did get some chairs and boxes brought into the house. And by the way, I've never had a garage before, so it's cool that we even have one to put things in at all!
We met a few of our neighbors today, which was really nice.... the woman right next door to us said that she has five-year-old boy/girl twins, so my little sisters are really excited to meet them. We also met ten-year-old boy/girl twins, which had me wondering if there was something in the water down here that's creating so many multiples! I haven't met anyone around my age yet, but that just means that my friends will have to visit even sooner!
Unfortunately, the twins aren't quite on the same page right now. Twin A hasn't stopped asking when the pool will be ready for us to use and she's been super hyper all day. Twin B, on the other hand, has been curled up in bed under a bunch of blankets due to a fever coming on suddenly this morning. The poor thing just doesn't feel well at all. Hopefully she'll be up and feeling better soon; I don't think I'll be getting away with laying on a bed with her while other people are cleaning tomorrow like I did today!
I only have two more weeks to reach my goal of 150 likes on my Facebook author page by the time I'm celebrating a year of blogging on July 29th. I still need 42 people to hit that "like" button and I would be really grateful to everyone if you could like and share my page. It's as simple as clicking the two buttons at the top right of any blog page, so it only takes a few seconds of your time! As I've mentioned before, when I reach 150 likes, I will share information about the novel that I've been working on, so I'm really excited to hit that milestone!
I’d greatly appreciate it if you would share this blog with friends and family through your favorite social media sites. If you’re sharing on Twitter, don’t forget to tag me (@TayTayK02) and use the hashtag #TaylorTalks.
Thanks!
