I almost forgot to post tonight! We've been watching a marathon of "Full House" episodes that have taped throughout the week, and I've forgotten about everything else for the past two and a half hours.
With the new spin-off, "Fuller House," premiering on Netflix next month, I've been anxious to watch old episodes of "Full House" to catch up on the story line. I knew that it still aired on re-run, but I wanted to wait for the first episode to air again. It started again with that first episode this week, so we've been taping them and started watching a bunch tonight.
As someone who is so family oriented, I really enjoy this show. I've been laughing all night, enjoying the tender moments between siblings, and I'm able to relate to a lot of what the show is about, even though everything took place over twenty years ago.
I love shows that focus on family rather than on dating or relationships. I've never been on a date, and I'd rather be home watching television with my parents than going out to a party. It's nice to see your basic, average family depicted on television (of course, with plenty of antics thrown in), instead of always watching romances. Don't get me wrong; I love a good romantic comedy! But it's also nice to watch a family show while I'm relaxing on the couch.
What types of shows do you like? Are there any go-to shows that you keep up with or enjoy watching re-runs of?
