Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
It's been a long two days at work, but today was such a nice day!
It's been a long two days at work, but today was such a nice day!
Our lunch hours were much calmer than they usually are, which was nice because we definitely had a few hiccups behind the scenes when things got started today. Everything went really smoothly today, and even as we started to get tired later in the day, we were constantly smiling because of great interactions with Guests.
I spoke with a few really nice groups today, but one group especially stuck out in my mind. They were extremely happy and outgoing, and immediately started chatting with me. They were excited because they had two Taylors in their group, a guy and a girl, so we immediately bonded over that. I learned that they were Cast Members as well (which made their personalities make so much sense), and they were celebrating a birthday. We talked for quite a while and they truly lifted my spirits toward the end of the night. When they were leaving afterward, I stopped to take a picture for them, and they once again made me feel really happy. It was so nice!
I was also awed by a wonderful family who I had already had great interaction with earlier in the night... They left an extremely generous tip for their server as they were her very last table before she was retiring. It brought tears to everyone's eyes to see how kind people can be. This family was so sweet and supportive, and I know that we'll all remember their goodness for a long time.
I hope that tomorrow will be just as great as today was! I'm looking forward to it!
