Tonight, I'm just filled with good news... I love nights like that, don't you?
As thrilled as I was with the progress I was making on my new book, I still wanted to work on my novel a little as well. I feel like I need to take my attention away from the novel once in a while, or I get into this rut where I can't forge ahead with the writing anymore. Luckily, after working on the children's book for a bit, I was able to go back to the novel and find a spark that let me write a few more paragraphs. I wasn't completely satisfied with how they came out, but I was glad that I got the general gist of what I want to happen written down, and I can always go back and revise them later.
Now here's the other piece of good news... After everyone went to bed tonight, my mom and I finally had the opportunity to do what we've been waiting to do for what seems like forever... we started watching "Fuller House" at last! Wow, we only got to watch a couple of episodes, but boy was it nice to start it! The show is just as corny, sweet, goofy, and family-oriented as "Full House" was, and I'm loving every minute of it. I'm so glad that we took the time to watch all of the old series before starting this one, because now I can truly appreciate how awesome it is for everyone to be working together on this spin-off.
I'm excited to make further progress on my writing, and on "Fuller House," but right now it's off to bed because I have work tomorrow. It may be Spring Break, but not all of us are on vacation all week. It's a good thing that I love going to my job, or it would really hard to get up in the morning!
