I guess I'll first share with you the second book promo that we released yesterday, in case you missed it on social media...
Three generations of Mari’s family are facing an unknown future in the midst of the 2020 global Coronavirus pandemic. Her parents are able to show her that it’s okay to be scared, but hopeful, and that they can still have fun while being stuck at home.
Due for release in early May 2020, “The Way the World Changed: A Story of Hope During Pandemic” is written by Taylor Faith Krigsman and illustrated by Ashlynn Marie Lilly.
I am absolutely in love with Ashlynn's illustrations. Each one is prettier than the last!
We're hoping to have the book ready for release next week, but of course there could be delays. Keep watching my Facebook page and this site for further announcements though!
I have also been working on a special project with my work family this week. I'm not ready to reveal the details, but it has been so much fun! We've all been keeping in touch via a big Facebook group and it's crazy how weird it is to not see them all every day. I can't wait to do a big reveal when our project is complete!

Something else that has been in the works is my adoption process. I've been moving things along, despite being stuck in the house for almost two months, and it's exciting! Part of me is ready to shout everything from the rooftops, and part of me wants to keep things under wraps until I know more, just in case. At this point, I do want to fill everyone in on where I'm at in the process, but I think that it deserves its own blog post. You'll just have to come back tomorrow to see what's going on!
