First of all, I’d like to say a big thank you to the people who have left me comments on my blog posts! I really appreciate having people read my posts, and reading comments from people truly makes me feel good.

Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Homework has been kicking my butt this week (yes, even though classes have ended, I’m still working on homework)… I’m completely exhausted and can’t think straight, so I’m going to keep this post short. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Today officially marks four months of blogging on Taylor Talks! I can’t believe how much has changed since July 29th. I feel like I’ve grown and changed as an individual, my family has changed, and even the blog itself has changed and grown. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
I cannot believe it… this is my one hundredth post on this blog! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
The blog is three months old today! I never would have guessed that I would make it to three months when I first started this over the summer. I mean, I had hoped that I would be able to stick with it, and that eventually this would become a big deal in some way, but I know myself, and I know that I have a problem with sticking to things. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Happy two month anniversary to my blog! I can’t believe that I have been blogging for two months already… time has just flown by! Since I’ve started this blog, the summer has ended, my senior year of college has begun, we’ve celebrated birthdays, and visited extended family. It has been a crazy two months for sure. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
As some of you may have noticed, I recently changed the subject line of what my blog is about. While it used to say, “Thoughts of the Only Bio Kid in a Foster Family,” it now says, “The Only Bio Kid in a Foster Family: Thoughts About Family, Foster Care, Adoption, & Life on the Road to Becoming a Teacher and Author.” Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Happy anniversary Blog! It has been exactly one month since I started on this endeavor, and I’m so proud of myself for sticking with it! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Well, I’ve been blogging for almost a month now, and I’m excited that I’ve been able to keep up with it. I have noticed a fluctuation in the amount of visitors I have to my blog, and I have yet to receive any comments on my posts. I’m hoping that my writing is making a small impact on its readers, but I have no way of knowing how people are reacting to what I have to say. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
I finally did it… I told my mom and one of my brothers about starting this blog. I felt like, while I’m telling my story, they’re a big part of it; I didn’t want to talk about anything that would make someone uncomfortable. My dad wasn’t home when I spoke to them, so I can’t wait to grab a minute alone with him as well. While I certainly wouldn’t hide this blog from my other siblings, I feel like they’re all just not old enough to understand the specifics of what I’m writing about, so I don’t need to have a long talk with them just yet. |
AboutMy family started doing foster care when I was three years old. We took in nineteen children over the course of eighteen years, with our last placement leaving in December 2014. I'm the only biological child in my family, though my parents adopted five of my siblings.
I love to share my perspective on the foster care system and share how my unique upbringing shaped my life. I'm also a Cast Member at Walt Disney World and lover of all things Disney! My career allows me the opportunity to find a little bit of Magic in life every day. I enjoy sharing my journey as a writer as well. Find my children's books on Amazon and keep following my blog for updates on future books that I'll be releasing! Archives
