Earlier in the week, I promised you more information about my upcoming children's book, "How Do Grandmas Grow?" and I'm happy to share it with you now! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
As promised, I'm here with another "Cast Member Monday" post to support furloughed and laid off Cast Members from Disney property across the country! There has been an overwhelming response to my call for Cast Members to feature on these posts, so I'm excited to continue sharing these small businesses over the next few Mondays as we approach the holiday season. Don't forget to visit Taylor Talks over the next few days though, as I'll be sharing more about my upcoming book release as well! As you all know, I have been furloughed from my job as a Cast Member at Epcot since April because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Between my home of Walt Disney World and the Disneyland parks across the country, tens of thousands of Cast Members have found themselves in this same position. In the past few weeks, 28,000 Cast Members from both coasts have now also been told that they are being laid off. This has had a tremendous impact on Cast Members, their friends and family, and the Disney-loving community as a whole. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!

Whew, I finally made it back to the blog... when a week and a half goes by and I haven't posted, I feel awful. about it. Sometimes life just gets in the way though. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Well, it's been just about four weeks since the release of my newest children's book, "The Way the World Changed," and I couldn't have asked for a better release! I'm still amazed at how many children we've been able to reach and help with this story! |
About
My family started doing foster care when I was three years old. We took in nineteen children over the course of eighteen years, with our last placement leaving in December 2014. I'm the only biological child in my family, though my parents adopted five of my siblings.
I love to share my perspective on the foster care system and share how my unique upbringing shaped my life. I'm also a Cast Member at Walt Disney World and lover of all things Disney! My career allows me the opportunity to find a little bit of Magic in life every day. I enjoy sharing my journey as a writer as well.
