Some of you may be wondering why this post has such a specific title… I’ve been writing this blog for over five months, so why in the world would I suddenly be welcoming people? Well, the truth is that even though I had told my parents and I’m pretty sure my mom had told a friend of hers or two, I hadn’t told anyone else about my little project.
So now, as I’m sure you bright people have figured out, all of my family and friends now know about this blog. Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by! My mom actually asked me if it would be okay to share the link to Taylor Talks on her Facebook account today. I had just never decided to share it, not because it was a secret, but because most people already know a lot about my life, and I guess I was a little afraid that no one would be interested in what I had to say outside of my Facebook posts once in a while. Well, it’s time to “let it go” (yeah, I did it… You’re welcome for having that stuck in your head for the next three hours), and welcome all of the new readers.
But in all honesty, I’m glad that everyone knows about Taylor Talks now, because hopefully the support of my family and friends will help me grow this blog into something bigger and more beautiful day by day. I look forward to seeing where this goes from here!
Thank you as always to the readers who come back each day to learn something new from me, because this blog wouldn’t have been anything without your support for the past five months. And welcome once again to the family and friends who have decided to click on a link and read what little ole Taylor has to say about life. I hope I make all of you, friend or stranger, a little happier with each post, and leave you with a better understanding of my family, foster care, adoption, and my life on the road to becoming a teacher and author.
I’d greatly appreciate it if you would share this blog with friends and family through your favorite social media sites. If you’re sharing on Twitter, don’t forget to tag me (@TayTayK02) and use the hashtag #TaylorTalks.
Thanks!
Taylor
