In the time I've spent as a writer, I've learned that inspiration can strike at any time. I'm always prepared to jot down notes on my phone or a scrap of paper. Still, sometimes inspiration strikes at the most random moments and catches me off guard.

Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Back in January, I went through training at work to become a Relief Coordinator. Basically, it means that I can pick up shifts to cover the full time Cast Members when they need the day off, and the position itself is kind of the equivalent to middle-management. Today, two months after I began my two weeks of training, I finally picked up a Coordinator shift for the first time. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
I had to use a title that gives a nod to one of my favorite Disney movies, of course, (you're welcome if you now have "Let It Go" stuck in your head), but this post has nothing to do with Disney or songs... I'm working on my new novel! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
This weekend was quite the whirlwind, and not just because of the tornado warning! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
Today, I officially began my training for another position at work! Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
I love the daily interactions that I'm able to have with Guests as a Cast Member at Disney World. Each day, there are many small moments that make me smile. Today, I was able to do something that made me smile even more than usual... I made a Magical Moment. Welcome back to Taylor Talks!
1 "Ear" As A CM... that's what my "I'm Celebrating" button said when I went into Epcot this evening to celebrate the anniversary of joining the Walt Disney World Company as a Cast Member. I've officially been a Cast Member for an entire year now, and it felt so good to reach that milestone! |
AboutMy family started doing foster care when I was three years old. We took in nineteen children over the course of eighteen years, with our last placement leaving in December 2014. I'm the only biological child in my family, though my parents adopted five of my siblings.
I love to share my perspective on the foster care system and share how my unique upbringing shaped my life. I'm also a Cast Member at Walt Disney World and lover of all things Disney! My career allows me the opportunity to find a little bit of Magic in life every day. I enjoy sharing my journey as a writer as well. Find my children's books on Amazon and keep following my blog for updates on future books that I'll be releasing! Archives
